Cirilo as he is commonly referred to, brings over 30 years of industry experience to our community.
As an undersized, under-coached athlete, Cirilo found his calling in fitness while serving in the United States Marine Corps. As a highly decorated Marine, he designed and implemented physical training programs for his fellow Marines and officers. After serving honorably in the Gulf War, Cirilo continued his passion for helping others by serving as the Director of Training at Spine and Sports Care, where he studied and worked with spine, joint and sports physicians and therapists. Realizing that his passion was more in performance rather than clinical, Cirilo continued his evolution by working in some of New York City's most exclusive clubs before starting his own personal training service in the mid 90’s.
After watching his own children participate in youth athletics, Cirilo discovered a lack of positive youth training and coaching and thus began his search for a reputable solution. That search led him to Bill Parisi and the Parisi Speed School.
While at Parisi’s, Cirilo quickly became one of the company’s most successful performance coaches, servicing over 1,000 athletes to include High School, Collegiate and Professional athletes. Soon thereafter, Cirilo was unanimously selected by the Parisi Board of Directors to assume the duties as Director of Franchise Development. During his 13-year tenure, Cirilo is credited with helping Bill Parisi launch the Parisi Franchise Network and successfully granted over 70 of its current franchise locations worldwide. He also served as Parisi Franchise’s 1st Master Coach, having certified over 500 Parisi Performance Coaches.
Cirilo’s professional experience includes the NFL Combine Program where he worked alongside Martin Rooney in successfully launching the careers of over 60 NFL athletes and was the personal speed and strength coach to New York Mets pitcher Dellin Betances.
Today, Cirilo continues his role as one of 5 Master Coaches for the Parisi Franchise Network and now brings his skills and experience to Parisi Speed School of Fairfield.
Favorite Quote: “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!” Ralph Waldo Emerson
